A special condolence meeting was held Aug 12 2026 to honor and mourn the tragic loss of seven brave mountaineers who recently lost their lives in a devastating avalanche on Pakistan’s Broad Peak.
Organized by the International Human Rights Organization (I.H.R.O-Nepal), the executive assembly paid heartfelt tributes to the fallen heroes of the mountains, acknowledging the ir immense contributions to the global climbing community. During the meeting, I.H.R.O-Nepal expressed its deepest condolences to the grieving families and discussed human rights and welfare support to facilitate the final rites (antesti) and funeral services with utmost respect and honor.
